Hi, I’m Sergiu Costin, a photographer based in Romania. By training I’m a mechatronics engineer, and that technical background shows in the way I work: I care about sharp details, clean colors, straight horizons and natural light. My portfolio grows from my travels and the places close to home. Tenerife has a special place in my collection: golden sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean, dramatic storm clouds above the coast, pebble beaches under a rising full moon, the volcanic landscapes of Teide National Park and the white holiday apartments of Los Cristianos glowing at dusk, plus wildlife from pilot whales to the animals and aquariums of Loro Parque. From Amsterdam’s canal houses to quiet Dutch villages with church towers, grazing sheep and canals lined with hydrangeas, I like to capture the calm, everyday side of a place. Closer to home, I photograph the green hills, mountain villages and colorful sunset skies of Transylvania and the Carpathians, including Cisnadioara, Sibiu and the Parang Mountains. I also produce short stock videos: sunset time-lapses, slow-motion water, jellyfish and underwater scenes, and aerial footage from the airplane window. Every image shows a real place, photographed by me, with accurate locations and clean, natural-looking edits. New images and videos are added regularly. Thank you for visiting my portfolio!
